Birthday girl-May 28, 2017

Yesterday was Zoey's third birthday. She had her cake and opened her gifts here. So today we had to go set it all up at her house.

We thought since she loved her indoor horse at our house so much

that she might love an outdoor horse just as much. And she does.

I forgot to put the bandana around the horse's neck.

 

Hannah likes this horse, too.

 

Both girls had problems at first because they are used to swings that go back and forth. This horse goes in every direction at once. It's almost like a carnival ride.

 

Hannah, at her young age, asked for pictures for her bedroom walls. So we found some really cute things to put on her walls. We did that this afternoon under her direction. It did add a lot to her room.

And she was so happy with the results. Now she wants to paint some pictures to add to it.

 

We are having a difficult time realizing little Zoey is now 3 years old. She is growing and changing so fast. It makes us feel so old! Happy Birthday to our little Zoey. Love her!

 

Inside WinStar-May 21, 2017

I have posted a couple of pictures of the outside of WinStar. Now I would like to post a few on the inside. It is not what you have probably imagined. It is correctly called the WinStar World Casino and Hotel. The inside is divided into different countries of the world. The decorations match that part of the world.

This is etched glass. It is gigantic and very high in the air.

 

One of two fountains, also very high in the air.

Colors change constantly.

 

Second fountain. I sat near this one and actually

got a few splashes of water on my arm. Not a problem.

 

 

 

This is part of the floor. It changes colors constantly and

does so to the beat of music. I love this floor.

 

This entire structure is very, very pretty and enjoyable. The colors are such that it lifts one's spirits.

You cannot be in this complex and be unhappy.

 

 

 

 

A break-May 17, 2017

We are taking a few days off from the regular routine of our daily lives. Everybody needs a break now and then.

This is WinStar World Casino, hotel, spa, golf course, RV park, arena and event center.

There are 22 restaurants inside with several more being built now and several gift shops plus

a beautiful swimming pool.

Once you arrive here, there's no reason to leave for several days.

It is large, over a mile from one end to the other, so you can easily walk several miles a day.

It is a place that takes you away from the rest of the world.

 

 

This is on every entrance to the complex.

I think it is a message of great strength.

Two Angels-May 13, 2017

Hannah and Daisy

 

Don't they look sweet? Looks can be deceiving! Never mind the leftover St Patrick's Day decoration on Daisy's head. She loved it! Daisy is a genuinely happy baby. We had her all day today so everybody else could go to Denver. We enjoyed every minute. Hannah will be 5 in August but she thinks she is 25. Know what I mean? But whatever, we still love our "angels".

We saw this truck on Hwy 34 headed east. We were stunned as we have never seen anything like this in this part of the country. It was wonderful, so much so, we wanted to shout for joy!

And yes, the sky really was that dark. It was a nasty storm.
