Still here-August 1, 2014

This has been a very busy week babysitting. I have not bothered to take any pictures. I'll keep this brief and let you know we are still alive and kicking. Next week will be even busier. We'll probably be with Hannah for most or all of the week plus one night we will have both little girls. So, grant me some leeway if I don't post a daily blog.

I think I did fail to post one recent picture. Good friends in Birmingham, James and Gloria, gave Hannah a dollhouse that their granddaughter played with when she was young. It was so well taken care of it looked brand new. We have had it onboard with us for quite a while. Finally we felt like Hannah's playing was taking on the imagination needed to play with a doll house. So, we took it out and put it on the floor for her to inspect.

She took to it like a duck to water. And she loves it.

We so appreciate James and Gloria sharing such a nice toy with us.

Please overlook how the coach looks. Since Hannah plays here so much

we have taken on the appearance of hoarders.

Whatever it takes to have fun is fine with us.

 

We do hope next week to be able to take Hannah to the Butterfly Pavilion in Denver, but it is going to be such a busy week we might have to put it off. If we take her before she turns 2 (on the 11th) she gets in for free. That's a great incentive. We hope they have an old folks rate for us!
