We slowed down a bit today and rode around with no particular place in mind. We researched a few local restaurants and chose at least one to try soon. This afternoon I was on the phone with my mother when a big coach was led in on the other side of our next door neighbor. We heard this really loud noise and looked out to realize the driver made a rookie mistake though he is no rookie. He cut the corner too short and ran his coach into the porch roof next door. The roof is not badly damaged, but he made a mess out of the coach. He knocked out one window, bashed the window frame, destroyed an outside light and scraped the side of the coach. It's not pretty. He said he will be here for two months and then he has to go back to the factory to get it repaired. I am sure he hopes it will not rain while he is here. The factory for his coach is in Oregon. We know what he faces, bless his heart! Cheryl and Doug, this made us think of your fun at the factory in Oregon. You know what he faces, too, right?
We do have something planned for tomorrow and we are looking forward to it.
The weather was once again very nice. We feel badly that we are enjoying such nice weather when friends and family in Colorado, Alabama, Louisiana, Texas, Tennessee and Georgia are dealing with such terrible weather. Our prayers are with all of you.
