At exactly 10 PM last night we heard a noise that made us think we were going to be part of a "drive-by". For a split second we didn't know what to do. Then we saw the light outside of our windshield. We were treated to a fabulous fireworks display at the adjacent baseball park. We are parked facing the stadium and the Birmingham Barons are home all week. We had no idea there was going to be any fireworks. It was the best fireworks display we have seen in at least 10 years. There were many we have never seen before. Such a treat. Who would have thought there would be such a happening on a Friday night and on Friday, the 13th, no less? It was terrific. Sorry you missed it!
