Fridge trouble-May 4, 2011

Very late this afternoon Jerry happened to open an RV magazine and see a recall on our refrigerator. I called the toll free number and was told to disconnect the refrigerator immediately and get it repaired locally as a fire could happen and cause us harm. Well, duh, this is our home and we lived without refrigeration after Ivan. I'm not going to do that again in bright sunshine. However, I do not want to enter a blog that says "She's smoking!!!!!" so I guess tomorrow we will see what we can do. Seems odd that we finally get a day to call this our official home and then start putting things together to leave and the magazine ad falls in our lap. The dealer did not notify us nor did the manufacturer. There must be a reason for this, but we are buffaloed at this point. Will keep you posted. Do any of you know a good RV refrigeration man????
