Oklahoma!-April 2, 2012

I believe the words to the song say "Oklahoma!, where the wind comes sweeping down the plain". Well, let me tell you the wind has been shocking, like nothing we have experienced. We are on the bottom outside edge of that storm that's crossing the center of the country right now. It is not really pleasant at all. But there are no warnings out. We are not in the path of the storm. This is just wind. And it's powerful. We had planned to move on down the road tomorrow. We will follow the weather tonight and we'll check all sights early tomorrow morning. If it looks bad we will sit tight. If it looks clear, we'll move on. We are not foolish and we don't take chances with our lives. So, I'll let you know tomorrow what we decide. We both want to spend some time in Amarillo. We have traveled through that city so many times and never ever had time to see what was there. We think we've missed a lot and we hope to make up for lost time. I hope the weather is nice where you are!
