Rio Grande River-January 26, 2013

We went back to Mesilla today for lunch. We did go to the store where we bought Rocky. They have no other creatures like him anymore. His family is gone!! On the way back we stopped to take pictures of the Rio Grande River. The plaque has two sides, but I will just show you the first side. It says enough.

Are you surprised? We were totally shocked. It has to be this way at El Paso, too. There was too much polution for us to see the river there. There is no way physically for there to be water there if there is no water here. Now we know why immigration is so easy at the Texas/Mexico border.
