Venetian-April 19, 2014

It was supposed to be hot and windy today. We were delighted they missed the forecast altogether. That enabled us to go to the Strip and walk a lot without being tossed around. We have not been in the Venetian since last year. I had forgotten how gorgeous the ceilings are.

The ceilings appear to be hand painted but I seriously doubt they are.

It's probably just wall paper. But, they are stunning.

The chandeliers are not shabby either.

 

This is just one of the beautiful fountains. This city is full

of fountains and running water. And it's a dry arid desert.

 

We absolutely love to walk either on the Strip or downtown. The exercise won't hurt us, but mentally it is very relaxing.

 

I pray that tomorrow will be a very blessed day full of very special meaning.
