Hurricane, UT-October 3, 2011

Hurricane boasts their name came from the winds in this area. It is in a huge canyon. Thankfully we have not heard the wind yet. It is raining now. This seems like a cute little town. It's really new. The drive today was so boring. Same old land, crops, weeds and foothills. Fortunately we had only minor road construction. I still am not sure why Brigham Young wanted all of this land. However, we have to get through it to get to our next destination. That's true about everything in life, isn't it? We hope to visit Zion National Park tomorrow. After that we have no plans carved in stone. We hope this park is as peaceful as the last one was. I wish I could describe what the canyon looks like that we drove through getting here. The colors of rock are incredible. Photographs don't do it justice either. Even if we don't ever want to live here, it's great to see it.
