VIVA LAS VEGAS!-October 7, 2011

We arrived in Las Vegas a short while ago. It is the most beautiful day, weatherwise, that we have had since we left Montana. The place we left on Monday (Fillmore, UT) got 2 inches of snow on Wednesday. So glad we got out of there! We made reservations for a week here, but we have too many places to go to get it done in a week. We temporarily reserved this spot for another week when we checked in, just in case we want to stay longer. If the weather would stay like this we'd never leave. We chose to be 6 miles from the strip because that's not our primary destination on this trip. After checking prices of shows we may not go to the strip at all. Would you believe the better tickets to the Donnie and Marie show are $290.00 each? I nearly fell out of my chair. Terry Fator whom we really wanted to see has to be booked 60 days in advance. And KA, the Cirque Du Soliet show at the MGM Grand is $202 per ticket. That is so outrageous. We may try to get to Ethel M's on Monday. If you don't know about that place, I'll tell you all about it when we get back. In the meantime I hope you are having weather as beautiful as this.
