This is what we saw as we walked through the neighborhood
last Saturday. It was clear and the wind was brisk. It was nice to
be outside enjoying fresh air.
Today it is snowing. Yes, it has the nerve to snow on St Patrick's Day.
Nevertheless we are cooking corned beef, cabbage, carrots and potatoes. I may venture into Irish Soda Bread later today. Derrick and his family are supposed to come over to eat with us tonight. The weather should not be so bad by then as to stop them though they predict 4-8 inches of snow by tomorrow. We are looking forward to sharing an Irish meal with our little girls.
