A Sunday walk-March 4, 2018

We cannot remember the last time the weather was nice enough that we could go for a walk. But it happened today. The sun was a very welcomed sight. The fresh air is still crisp so it's not Spring yet. We are definitely not wearing shorts and flip flops! At least I was able to take a couple of pictures of the mountains.

This is Long's Peak and Mount Meeker as seen from the top
of a hill near our house. This would be a nice view to have on
a daily basis but it's mainly businesses on this hill. A week
ago these peaks were completely white because of heavy snow.
It melts quickly.

These shorter mountains are north of Long's Peak. It is
the area of Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park.

Tomorrow and Tuesday should be very, very windy so we were happy to get a chance to get out today and enjoy the walk.
