Mittens sitting-July 18, 2018

Sunday and Monday we had the opportunity to babysit Mittens, our grand kitten, while the rest of the family went to Great Wolf Lodge in Colorado Springs. As I have stated before we are more dog people than cat people but I can tell you we had a fabulous time with this little kitten. Since the girls picked the cat up on a farm (we cringe at the thought) we do not really know how old he is but we might guess he is about 5 months old. He only weighs about 2 pounds. He's so tiny but has a dynamite personality and can be very short tempered.

Jerry and Mittens playing some kind of game. Mittens has
quick reflexes!

Mittens was not hog tied, just a little wrapped up in yarn.

This one will surprise you.
Jerry held this kitten's head for 2 hours while it slept.
Don't ask me why. I tried to move him to a spot on the floor and Mittens
was not happy with me. He hopped back in Jerry's lap to finish his nap.

This was quite an adventure for both of us. I think we actually missed the tiny little thing all day on Tuesday. He is a powerful little animal. We think he has the potential to be a good pet if the girls quite trying to tear him in half while attempting to claim him as their own.
