Cheyenne-August 8, 2018

We were very fortunate today to go to Cheyenne for lunch and a trek through our favorite store, Menard's. Every time we go we try a different restaurant. Today was the best so far.

We were caught off guard when we went inside. It gets excellent reviews online but it's even better than that. The service was unbelievable thanks to Mike. What a personality he had and he was so very efficient. The place was the cleanest eating establishment we have walked into in years. Not joking. And the food was fabulous. We will definitely return to Poor Richard's as soon as we can. On a scale of 1-10, I'd give it a 15.

We saw many antelope herds but no buffalo on the way to Cheyenne. I think antelope are fascinating. They seem so small but they are not. Very pretty animals.

We also spent about an hour in Menard's. You know how I love Menard's. If they had places to sit and rest I would walk the entire store in one day. It is so huge it's hard to shop the whole store at once.

We always enjoy going to Cheyenne. It's so easy to find our way around. Traffic is not too bad. Streets are better than here. And it is normally a few degrees cooler.

It was good to get away.
