Lunch with Addie-November 5, 2012

Today was a beautiful day and I went to Perdido Key to have lunch with my childhood friend, Carol.
She has an adorable little dachsund named Addie. After the initial greeting Addie became a typical dachsund. She burrowed under her blanket. The first time her nose was sticking out, so she had to start all over again. Here is what she looked like when she got herself positioned properly.

See that adorable little Addie? No, well, this is what she wanted.
Funny dog!

Carol and I sat in her living room overlooking the Intracoastal waterway on a sunny day and had a fun lunch. We were able to catch up on family news and lots of other fun topics.

Yesterday afternoon we went to the Great Gulf Coast Arts Festival in downtown Pensacola. It seems to us that it has grown a little over the years. We have been when it was raining. We have been when it was so hot it was unbearable. Yesterday was just right. We bought a couple of unique items and wished we had more room for a couple more. We were lucky once again to be here on festival weekend. This is a great time of year on the coast for special weekend activities.
