More of Deadwood-April 29, 2018

As mentioned in the last post it did snow in Deadwood on Tuesday. It was not a blizzard. The rain before it snowed made the roads deep in heavy slush. We elected to stay another day.

Eeny, meeny, which one is ours? The hearty soul who left was
from Wyoming. All others stayed put including us.

It was not cold at all so we put on jackets and walked the entire length of main street. It was wonderful to breath the clean fresh air.

It looks cold and dreary but it really wasn't either.

Jerry thought she was underdressed for the weather.
I thought she was a dummy!

By the time we finished our walk things were really
starting to clear up. While the picture is dark it is still possible
to see to the extreme opposite end of the city. I guess the flag shows
it's windier than we realized.

We really enjoy Deadwood. It is an interesting town full of history and very nice people. And to make matters better we found a bakery that makes fresh homemade donuts daily. They were delicious. We will add it to our agenda on future trips.
