Work day at Derrick's-April 20, 2012

The three musketeers, aka tree cutters, worked hard today. There were three huge old Russian olives on the back part of Derrick's property. Russian olives are such awful trees and good for absolutely nothing but taking up space and water. So, today was the day they had to come down.

Derrick and Josh work on the first tree

These trees would make great furniture because they are such hard wood. But they are no match for 3 strong men.

The tree was no match for fearless Josh

It was such a beautiful day the "boys" really accomplished a lot AND the pomegranate tree stayed outside all day.

Jerry and Josh take down the last tree!

Tomorrow will be clean up and wood chipper day. I am the designated cook and water carrier. It takes teamwork for a project this size. What a great day!
