Odd happening-June 11, 2012

We had several errands to take care of in Rapid City so we made our way back there this morning without the wind blowing us off the road. We had a very fitful night of sleep because the wind was relentless and extremely strong. We'll catch up tonight. After we got home and unloaded everything we decided we would go to a new restaurant that's only about a block from this park. Easyriders is a 25,000 sq ft building plus a huge outdoor area. It is sized for the rally. We were absolutely stunned when we went inside. It was gorgeous! It was professionally decorated and the colors were outstanding. The artwork on the walls were close to being priceless. We've not sat on seats that nice in years, if ever. We thought it was geared toward being a biker bar. Nope, it was a great restaurant. The food and service were both excellent for a decent price. Here's the odd happening. We went in and it had the name everywhere. We came out and it looked like this.
Can you see the black plastic covering the name? No name showing.

We don't have a clue what happened. Did they sell it while we were in there? It's so new I would hate to think somebody is closing down such a nice place. We wondered if the name Easyriders was a trademarked name and they are having to change the name. What a puzzling event. The owner has a rather unusual vehicle parked out front. We think it qualifies more as a trike than a bike or car. It's cute as a button. Jerry asked him where the radiator is and he replied that it was in the back. Whatever this is, it is really unique.

It's really cute and has a very nice paint job on it.

All in all it was a nice day. The wind has settled down for now. We send our prayers and best wishes to the people in Colorado who are watching the pretty countryside burn up with no help in sight. And we send prayers and hopeful wishes to our friends on the Gulf Coast who are about to drown. Houses and roads under water. People unable to go anywhere. If it gets hot they will have to be concerned about mosquitoes and snakes. More prayers go in that direction. Everyone please take care.
