Disappointment in Rio-April 25, 2013

We have planned for a number of days to go to the Rio tonight to see the Carnival in the Sky show. We saw it when we were here last time. And it is fabulous. They have a parade just like the Carnival in Brazil except the floats are suspended in the ceiling. They throw beads from the floats and the music is wonderful. So, we got there early and wandered around waiting for the show to start. When we walked down front to get a good seat, we saw the sign that said the show was cancelled for tonight. I think we both were so disappointed that we really didn't know what to say. So, we wandered back out to the parking deck and came home. Now we don't know if it is cancelled for tonight only or forever. I suppose we will have to do some investigative work to find out. As we left I noticed one pretty building that reflected the setting sun.

that he builds a very pretty building. This is not a casino.

 

It was another pretty day today. The heat returns tomorrow. Oh well, it is Las Vegas so we have to expect a little heat.
