What a day-April 16, 2013

Neither of us slept last night. The wind was indescribable. We walked the floor and sat in the living room, tossed and turned and finally just gave up and sat and listened to the noise. It was almost deafening. We are happy it has let up a little. To add to the fun of a lack of sleep, I had to get a prescription filled which the doctor's office had approved in November, but due to changes in policies, it could not be filled again. So, off we went to a walk in clinic. It is a nice place. I was impressed with the lady doctor. I got my prescription but we both were horrified at the germs people were coughing all over the place. We would have been happy to have been sprayed with straight Clorox spray when we left. We had no idea so many people were sick. We thought they were all spending money on the Strip! It is conceivable to both of us that our traveling could be curtailed in the future based on major changes in our healthcare. We hope not, but it is not looking bright right now. We'll keep going til we have to stop. All in all it still was not a bad day. Just one of those days we all have to experience every once in a while. Back to having fun tomorrow!!
