This is no April Fool's Day joke. We found out this morning that my niece's 6 year old daughter is going to have to have open heart surgery next Monday. We were absolutely stunned. Now that we are getting over the shock, we are asking for as many prayers as you have time to offer. Her name is Kenna Rose and she is a precious little Southern belle. If you have only a minute or two, early next Monday morning would you please pray for God to guide the surgeon's hands and that she will heal quickly and completely. Thank you for that.
We were already struggling with the day before we got the news. The wind wore us out last night. And it continued to howl today. Then late this afternoon it changed directions and it is very cold. It will warm up tomorrow but the wind will continue. It is starting to bother us a bit, but we will grumble our way through it.
As the song says, the sun'll come out tomorrow.............
