Laughlin, NV-March 6, 2013

We decided to explore the area by car before we decide what exactly we want to do. We went to downtown Laughlin, if there is such an area. It has lots of businesses besides casinos, hotels and restaurants. The entry to the Golden Nugget is really pretty.

Very welcoming, isn't it?

Looking downstream on the Colorado River taken
from the Bullhead City side.

Again from the Arizona side, this is the huge Harrah's. And those people
in the canoes were shouting with excitement as they drifted on the Colorado River.

The weather was beautiful today and we enjoyed being outside. We hope to walk all of the River Walk tomorrow. There is a taxi from one side of the river to the other. And you can take a river boat from one hotel/casino to another on the Laughlin side of the river. This is really a pretty area and it is much more heavily populated than we thought.
