M&M Store-March 28, 2013

Last weekend we knew that it was spring break for Las Vegas city schools. That meant 300,000 kids loose on the streets. So, what were we thinking when we headed to the strip today? Not sure. It was so awful, a gigantic sea of humanity, that we only made it through MGM Grand to the M&M Store and back to the car. It was unbelievable. We will wait until they are all back in school before we go to the strip again. Since we made it to the M&M Store we decided to fight our way to the second floor where there is a huge display of gigantic tubes of rainbow colored candies. My favorite is the mint M&Ms and Jerry's is the raspberry M&Ms. They are mega M&Ms, really large, several times bigger than the ones you buy elsewhere. We got a small bag full of the good stuff and fought our way back to the car.

I was too close to get a picture of the entire store front.

We did not make it to the Coca Cola store next door. Maybe next time.

The streets are full of these human statues as I call them.
All of them are very good at being statues and usually scare the daylights
out of some little child who gets too close. Michael Jackson was on the street today
along with a not so hot Elvis who was trying to teach someone a karate chop. Funny.

One of the magnificent lions in the lobby of the MGM Grand.
I did not notice David Copperfield's eye staring at somebody until just now.
The live lions are no longer in the lobby. They are tearing down their habitat.

It was a little warmer today, but not hot. And a nice breeze was blowing. Very pleasant.
