What do you do if you want to decorate a tree and you have no evergreen trees in the area?
You decorate an old oak tree, of course. These ornaments are as big as basketballs.
You can also see the standing water from all the rain.
We are caught in that horrible deep freeze that is covering so much of the eastern part of the nation. So, we have no right to complain. However, it really is cold. Yesterday we went to the Edgewater Mall and walked the whole thing to get our exercise and still be warm. Not sure what we will do today. The sun looks nice but the wind is bitter. We are checking forecasts for cities west of us to try to figure out a nice route but everybody is in the same boat right now. This has been an odd winter everywhere. We wish we could fly this barge to Las Vegas and skip all the nasty weather.
