A Walk in the Park-June 27, 2014

Earlier this week it was suggested to us that we take Hannah to a really nice park in Loveland. We started the day here in the coach. The weather was "iffy" at best, but doing nothing was not an option. So, I packed us a picnic lunch and off we went to North Lake Park in Loveland. We along with Jerry's parents took Derrick there when he was Hannah's age. I cannot believe it has managed to remain open all these years. And it's now a beautiful park.

The first thing we did was ride the train. Hannah was able to sit by the fake steering wheel which she played with the entire trip.

She was very intense.

The scenery was very nice and soothing.

"Escargot" is one of several bronze statues in the park.
This one has a great personality and a loveable face.

This was Hannah's favorite. She probably would have spent the
whole time in this swing. After only a few minutes of this,
she started singing to herself. It was so much fun to watch.

She really liked the slides, too, but Jerry took her to the top and I caught her at the bottom so there was no way to take pictures. We had our picnic and then played some more. Every time the train rode by, she waved at the riders. They loved it. And we loved watching it.

It rained on us on the way home. It stopped when we got ready to take a sound asleep Hannah into her house. Then when we got home the skies opened up and poured, again. All three of us had a wonderful day. Another day of fun memories.

Tomorrow we will babysit both girls. I am so excited to get to play with Zoey and let her stretch her arms and legs for exercise. She does not get held except during feeding, so I am going to hold her until she puts up a fuss.
