Good visit-May 12, 2011

Jerry put a note on the State Farm guy's door yesterday. So, as soon as he, Todd, got home from work he came over. We had a great visit. He helped us, probably without realizing it, understand how appraisers work during a catastrophe. It is not at all what we thought. His kids are 2 and 4 years old. He talks to them on Skype. I think we need to explore that. It sounds easy which us poor tech-lacking people need. He thanked us for a change in his routine and said he would see us again before we leave. Living in an RV park makes us live like we used to when I was growing up. Nobody knows anybody's phone numbers so you can't call or text. You have to knock on their door. It's really kind of neat. And then you actually sit down and talk to your company. In that sense, this lifestyle is so much simpler.
